November 6, 2005 - Lewes, DE

Many of us rode down on Saturday, bummed around, shopped, slept, went out to dinner together and hung out at the Lighthouse. The rest arrived on Sunday to mild temperatures and blue skies.

Fisherman's Wharf. Our sign-in was under the blue roof.
Many people parked next door at the motel where many of the Polar Bear staff stayed overnight. This was the last day for this motel. It will soon be turned into condos.
It was shirtsleeve weather with a nice breeze. As usual, many Polar Bears just stood around and talked and looked at bikes.
I've always wanted to take a picture like this.
