March 13, 2005 - Mountain View Bar & Grill - Long Valley, NJ Pictures

This was the second year for this stop about 1.4 miles up Schooleys Mountain. Gotta watch turn two. The weather was clear with temperatures 30-35 degrees. The restaurant was really packed.

Bill's on the Valk today.
Leo on his white PC.
Trailer fun
Lots of valuables in sight on this green beauty. Polar Bears are an honest bunch.
Up the hill and into the pothole mine field
It was a bit nippy here compared to South Jersey. Most people drifted inside pretty quickly.
But there are always people standing in circles.
A poignant moment
Most of the snow eventually melted into numerous water-filled craters.
Only chopper I saw today.
The owner of this 1947 Willys Jeep normally rides a motorcycle to the Polar Bear runs.
It really stood out and won my "Best of Show Award" for the day.
