I'm currently in Florida so I did not make it to this run.

The run today was to Cape May, NJ on April 19, 2015. It was the 24th physical run of the 2014-2015 season. (The Hooters run was cancelled because of the weather.)

Guest photographers today are Dave Thompson, Bernard Walsh, and Gary Rosen.

Dave Thompson said, "It was partly sunny and windy today with the temperature near 50 degrees."

If you took any pictures or videos for this run, please email them to me at walter@motorcycleviews.com and I'll place them on this website.

Note: We now have a special picture gallery on my Motorcycle Views website. It's strictly for Polar Bear Grand Tour riders. Send me a picture of your motorcycle and yourself and get included in the gallery.

If you like, if you see either of our photographers, Bernard Walsh or Dave Thompson, taking pictures, tell them you'd like to have your picture taken for the Polar Bear Picture Gallery. They will tell me which photos are also for the gallery. It will be up to you to contact me with information on year, make, model, and a short description along with your name.

I will also try to put a personal request to you under your picture if I see a picture of you and your motorcycle that looks posed. If you respond, I'll place the picture in the gallery.

Check out Polar Bear Grand Tour Motorcycle Riders for more details on how to submit your picture. ~ Walter

To my fellow Polar Bear Grand Tour Members:

As I mentioned on the Polar Bear Grand Tour's Facebook page a few days ago, we have come to the end of the Polar Bear Grand Tour season for 2014-2015. I want to take this opportunity to thank Bernard Walsh, Dave Thompson, and Gary Rosen for the great pictures and videos they supplied me this year. I admit that I had plenty to choose from and I was a bit choosy trying to keep the total each week to a manageable level.

I will begin working on my Best Pictures of the Polar Bear Grand Tour 2014-2015 season soon so check for that by the end of May, 2015.

---------------------------------------

On another note, even though I couldn't be in New Jersey at all this season, I have been busy with my own Website and working on an audio version of my second book, 50 Wild Motorcycle Tales. That project has finally been completed.

After almost four months of work converting my book into an Audible audiobook, I and my publisher, Silverton Audio, uploaded the final recordings to Audible and got approval to make the book available on iTunes, Audible, and Amazon on April 14, 2015.

I had the help of two professional narrators, Kim Holmes and Sam Smith, to narrate 40 of the tales. I narrated 10 tales myself. Five stories were written by me and the rest were submitted to my website, Motorcycle Views, over the years.

Listen to sample audio excerpts on Amazon, iTunes, or Audible. On Amazon, the audiobook will appear with the paperback and Kindle editions and you'll be able to listen to a full 5-minute sample of the book and hear all three narrators, including me.

Check out the new Audible audiobook cover, shown here. Click the cover to go directly to the Amazon page where the audiobook is described and listen to the 5-minute audio sample. Be sure to look at all the editions to see the audiobook description and cover.

Should you decide to buy and download the audiobook, I'd welcome any Amazon online reviews you might want to write after you have listened to the audiobook.

Remember, this new audiobook edition is also available for download on iTunes. That means you can access it on all your Apple devices including your iPhone and iPad.

By the way, if you have a good motorcycle story that involves a Polar Bear Grand Tour ride, write it up and send it to me for possible inclusion in a sequel to this book.

Walter
