Dear members,

Just a reminder that the first event of the 2020-2021 riding season is on October 25, 2020 to Cape May VFW. This is just tw0 weeks away and I know everyone is anxious to be back on the road.

Due to the continuing restriction of activities due to COVID 19, the staff of the Polar Bear Grand Tour cannot guarantee that there will be sign-ins at Cape May this year. So it's very important that everyone that wants to earn points this season should be pre-registered before October 25th so that they can take advantage of the revised rules for the 2020-2021 riding season.

In addition, there will be NO sign-ins at Irish Eyes this year. I will be at the site on the scheduled day during sign-in times and I will take your picture, record your name and mileage and forward it to your flight leader. Once I have taken your picture, you can stay for lunch or return home. Warning: Delaware is on NJs quarantine list and you may have to quarantine at home if you stay in Delaware more than 24 hours (this is my interpretation of NJs quarantine rules).

See you soon, ride safe and follow any COVID restrictions for your own health.

Subject: Revised rules and ride schedule for 2020-2021 Riding Season

Considering the continued health and safety concerns for our members and the availability of large gatherings at our sites, we will be implementing updated rules for the 2020-2021 Riding Season. Updated rules now appear at https://polarbeargrandtour.com/rules.htm. These revisions relax some rules and encourage members to use alternate sign-in measures to continue to ride in the winter.

The ride schedule for the 2020-2021 Riding Season can be found at https://polarbeargrandtour.com/rides.htm. Hooters in Wayne may be closed so we will try to find an alternate site as soon as possible.

Members can register for the Polar Bear Grand Tour by contacting me at PBGT2020@gmail.com and you will receive further instructions.

Please be considerate of the COVID 19 CDC and Site Rules for social distancing and face masks before entering any establishment.

All my best,

Jim Conway
