If you believed the weather forecasters today, you wouldn't have even gotten out of bed. Everything including high winds, fog, rain, snow squalls, and black ice were all over the TV forecasts.

The Polar Bear event fell right between two weather systems. The first contained scattered rain, snow, and winds with temperature around 42 degrees. The second was to contain high winds and decreasing temperatures with a possibility of snow. We waited until most of the first system had passed. Then all we saw were scattered clouds and sun with some bad wind gusts. Apparently, most Polar Bear riders came out anyway and all had a great day.

I didn't think I would be riding today so I asked Bill Marion if he would take pictures. He told me he wasn't sure he was going to come either. Turns out we both came and we both took pictures. You'll see some of Bill's pictures at the end. Thanks Bill.

There are also five videos at the very end of this page.

No, he's not blocking the oncoming lane. I just caught him turning in.
Three more riders turning in.
I believe he took a scenic route.
So what's a little road salt when you're havin' fun?

Can this be February weather in New Jersey?
Always something to look at
Better get going before the snow and winds come.

You certainly know how to take a flattering picture Bill.
